Carpets are a biggy on the allergies. Keeping all windows shut and doors sealed help too. You don't want to let all the allergens into your house. Also covering your pillow case, vaccuum under the bed. I have the Dyson and it is much better than the Hoover for allergies. Also the Rainbow one is awesome, but very expensive. I think it is worth it in the long run. You still would want a vaccuum around for dusty areas on your wood floors. Excessive nick nacks are dust collectors. try to really get rid of things that collect any dust and clean out your home. Also cloth furniture is the worse, but I realize not everyone can get leather, but is has less problems. Vaccuum these too. Use cleaner that are environmental friendly. It should.
