I have a fuzzy blanket that does something similar. Little balls wad up and stick to other blanket laying next to it. I wash the blankets but the little balls still stick. These blankets are comfortable to me and I do not plan to replace them. Of course I am a bachelor and do not let anyone in the world see this problem.
