Posted by admin as Hypoallergenic Bedding
I just recently discovered that such things were made, to actually wash your bed sheets in & clean your carpet with, that help to kill dust-mites & other allergy causing agents. But that's all I know. What are some brand names of these products & where can I find them? Thanks!

1Allergen free does not mean that it kills allergens such as dust mites. It just means it is void of allegen producing substances. I use Fabreeze allergen reducer. You spay it on your fabrics, carpets, and soft surfaces like sofas etc. to reduce allergens. It smells good too. I hate the smell of regular Fabreeze but the allergen reducer smells good. When you wash your bedding that kills allergens that would be there but the mattress is where the dust mites will be hiding. The Fabreeze will work there, and on the pillows. Although I wash my pillows. Good luck and God bless!!

2I use Sol-U-Mel on the carpets after cleaning. I spray on the carpets and it kills all bacterial and odor causing bacteria. It allergen free.
For laundry we use MelaPower and it is allergen free.
Hubby has severe indoor allergies and has not had to take allergy shots since using these eco-friendly products.
