It's amazing how rude some people can be (Tacit). I personally didn't find your question to be difficult to read.

Anyway though, definitely look into Wellness cat food. I feed it to my cats and they love it. It doesn't contain any of the junk that Purina does (no corn, wheat, soy, by-products), though it is a bit pricey. You can buy it online if you'd like, http://www.petfooddirect.com carries it. Another quality brand that isn't as expensive is Blue Buffalo. My cats also love Blue Buffalo and it doesn't have any nasty ingredients either. You can also buy it online at http://www.petfooddirect.com

I hope I was of some help :) Best of luck finding a good food for your kitty.

Wellness is a top brand with a very good reputation. I feed it to my cats and they do very well on it. Take a look and see what you think.

Here a couple of other really good foods you can check out

If you're interested in feeding a raw diet, here's a website with information on that. You can also buy prepared raw food at most pet stores.

The Natura company has some really great cat foods. I don't know how long they have been in business, but to me it only makes sense that a food that is filled with meat and little grain, no by products or corn is going to be better than the one that has them.

Some of their products are Innova/Evo, California Natural, or Healthwise. For a pet with allergies I would go with California Natural because it has very limited ingredients.
http://www.californianaturalpet.com/products/default.asp?id=72
That would be a good place to start. It lists the ingredients on the side, there isn't any crap of fillers which is wonderful. My dog and cat have done great on them and both have amazing figures and coats. Good luck!
