I saw this and I was wondering if being able to wash the bedding at over 60 degrees Celsius is what dust mite proof is all about:

My rabbit has mites, and there is no small animal vet where I live. So a vet is not an option. Can I use 7 dust on him and his cage to get rid of the mites? Or whats the best thing to use to get rid of them?

What would it take to kill 100% definitively? (on bedding, mattresses, furniture, clothing, et cetera.) Only provide methods that are not harmful to humans and will not destroy the medium the mites are living on. Please give details and documentation! Thanks.

I just have found out that I have multiple allergies. I am allergic to: dust mite, all kind of dust, feathers, fur of cats, dogs and sheep, demodex mite, fish food (dried), fescue, goose-foot, timothy-grass, couch-grass, wormwood, Indian corn and hogweed.
