I want to teach my children good habits now in regards to their skin, and I find it very important to wash and moisturize your face before bed. My facewash and moisturizers are not made for kids, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any face products that were made for them or [...]

I’m slightly allergic to maple and dog. But my allergy to dust and mites are so severe, that they were unable to be scaled because they were so high. I use an air purifier, enclosed my mattress, I take Calritin D, Zyrtec, vacuum using wearing a mask (we have an HEPA Hoover), and use a [...]

SHORT VERSION: I plan to wear an adhesive eye patch over my right eye for an extended period, maybe several weeks, or even longer. I am quite nearsighted, but my eyes see equally. Will patching up a structurally sound eye cause it go lazy or become any weaker? Should I take the patch off for [...]

I have painful sinus infections all year around, chronic rhinitis, im allergic to pollen, mold, household dust, all grasses, smells like gasoline, pesticides, even strong cleaning products like clorox, I use to take shots for 2-3 years and then stopped for a while, if I start again, would it be from the beginning or where [...]

After a year of headaches and a constant sore throat I was finally tested for allergies and found out that I have bad allergies towards dust and dust mites. The strange thing is that my only two symptoms are headaches and ongoing sore throat and nothing else (no congestion or watery eyes). Is this [...]

I am not 100% sure I have them, but I have only had allergies while living in the appartment I do now. (I was watching the Oprah show where they show how long people keep things and find how unsanitary it is and a bell went off about all my allergies to dust)
How do [...]

For many few years I’ve had mild hayfever which was cleared up with an antihistamine from time to time when symptoms got bad. I also seem to have an allergy to cats (my mate has one, and my eyes get really itchy and my nose runs when I’m in her house).
This year my regular tablets [...]

I just have found out that I have multiple allergies. I am allergic to: dust mite, all kind of dust, feathers, fur of cats, dogs and sheep, demodex mite, fish food (dried), fescue, goose-foot, timothy-grass, couch-grass, wormwood, Indian corn and hogweed.
It affects mostly my eyes. They became puffy, and I can’t open them, and then [...]

My 6 yr old son had walking pnuemonia when he was 4 yrs for 3 1/2 months. After this, he developed asthma. He has allergies and was on clariton before it was OTC. Now he is on xopenex and pulimcort as needed and Singulair 5mg every night before bed. In the [...]

Ever since it started getting warmer outside, my allergies have started acting up. They are painful and I know my old bed isn’t helping my allergies. I think the bed has mold on it. I put a special cover over the mattress and boxspring until it got holes in it. Three little holes will cause [...]

I was at a friends place the other day and she started questioning my parenting, by stating various things that she thought i was doing wrong. eg- stating that i put my son to bed to early, that the bodywash i am planning to by for my son is crap (he has allergies to some [...]

My mom recently has been diagnosed with an allergy to dust mites. She takes some allergy medicine but it doesn’t do much. Her doctor recommended to remove the carpets. And the whole house is carpeted. Is there any solution to her allergies without removing the carpet?

First, I noticed her eye watering. Not both, just one. Now, today, the side of her mouth and nose is swelling. I’ve been wiping her eye with a warm washcloth each night and it doesn’t water anymore, it just looks…painful. I’m providing photos:

I have had allergies most of my life but up until about a week ago I couldn’t sleep because my whole body (mainly my back, neck, and shoulders) wouldn’t stop itching. I have had the same bed sheets for years. I recently found out my mom got a new laundry detergent so I went out [...]

As a young child I was allergic to the world. From flowers to sheep and even most soaps. I have outgrown most allergies (or they are less severe) and can now take things such as walking near flowers without needing to be rushed to the hospital. On the other hand, some things [...]

My 5 month old son has eczema. (I’m nearly positive) It is mostly on his forehead and the left side of his face. His doctor says it’s either allergies or eczema but has not diagnosed. She has pretty much shown no interest in it, much to my annoyance! I breastfeed him. (No formula at all) [...]

Hi, I have asthma and allergies and my mom told me she recalled hearing about some kind of impervious covers to protect your mattress and pillows from getting dust, dust mites, allergens, and even bed bugs I think (not that I think I’m in danger of that) and I was wondering, does anyone know where [...]

She’s only a few months old. But every so often, she’ll make this sneezing-like noise, and then groom her whiskers.
Do rats have allergies? I’ve switched her bedding several different times to different styles and brands, but she still sneezes. And I don’t use any incense or air scenting products.
Help me, please?

Thanks in advance,
