   This could be a sign of SEBORRHEIC DERMATITIS, a condition in which the sebaceous glands overproduce.

   Try using hydrocortisone cream or selenium sulfide shampoo on the sore areas. See your doctor if the symptoms continue or spread.

   It could be one of several things. Do you own any pets? And if they are chiggers or fleas, they will probably be too small for you to see them. You could also have an allergy to grass.

   Maybe if you have a pet, they have fleas? That happened to me awhile back.

   it may be chiggers or if you have a dog scabies they bite you and then die off they are very annoying!! you could put clear nail polish over the chigger bites or if you have a dog go to the vet and get meds and they will stop.

   There are a few things that can involve every hair follicle, including follicular eczema (including follicular mycosis fungoides, unfortunately); a follicular form of schamberg’s capillaritis; scurvy; follicular lichen planus. Since there are several possibilities, I’d have your dermatologist look at it, and even consider doing a biopsy if he canot tell visually.
