Okay. I have really bad bug bites on my body. Now that I sit and count them, there really aren’t that many. But they itch, and my sister is COMPLETELY covered in them. We live together with my boyfriend, who has also been bit. The bites are just like mosquito bites, but we get them when we’re inside. Not always when we’re sleeping, but they do bite us while sleeping. My sister has like an air mattress anyway, and she sleeps on the couch a lot, so I really don’t think it’s bed bugs, but maybe it is. I don’t have animals, and I bombed the whole house for fleas anyway. I live in the DC area, so there’s definitely chiggers around, but they bite you outside, and die later. This has been going on for weeks, and I’ve even been bit while sitting at my desktop computer table. The bites are on my hands, butt and arms, but my sister has it on her elbows, arms, back, butt, belly, EVERYWHERE. My boyfriend got bit on the face more than once. It seems like they usually only bite where skin is exposed though. (We all sleep pretty naked). I don’t know. I saw a hopping black bug on the coffee table once, but that was weeks ago and I haven’t seen once since that time. Can someone help me identify what is biting me? I can’t afford to go to the doctor, it’s literally 1000% out of the question, I don’t have hundreds of dollars to give some asshole to look at me for 1 minute and then pay 200 more dollars for some shitty lotion. Please help!
Thanks Jenn. I don’t have animals, so it’s weird to treat for fleas. lol, maybe I should buy myself a flea collar and wear it as a bracelet hahah …. ha. … …… heh ….. ………….. . ………. i’m so itchy!!!!!!
Elaine, that was a good website for bedbugs. It has me reconsidering.

1Spiders are a possibility, but I’d think if you have so many bites you’d have noticed some spiders around. As for the jumping black bug, I would do a really good search for fleas, I know you sprayed for them but it doesn’t always work. Also, bed bugs can hide right in the mattress, or carpets, so you might need to really take apart your bed and look around. Wish I could help more, good luck.

4Definitely bed bugs. Get all new mattress and couches and everything! Repaint your house. Close any holes in your house. And call an exterminator. You have to do all of these steps to get rid of them 100%.
