I suffer from severe allergies and for the past few weeks I’ve been having a really stuffed up nose and nothing seems to helps it. It feels like the upper part of my nose is blocked. Sometimes it hurts and is really hard to breathe out of my nose. Most of the time it gets worse when i lay down to go to bed. I don’t have a runny nose and i am not sneezing very much. I’ve tried taking Sudafed, Claritin and Zyrtec and nothing seems to help. I have also tried doing a few natural remedies like a netti pot and smelling a steaming cup of water and tea. Are there any other OTC products or natural remedies that i can try? please help, I’m tired of dealing with this.

1i used to use the generic Sudafed sold at my grocery store, worked wonderful. regular Sudafed never worked for me. something about what they made the pill out of (not the medication) that didn’t break down in my system.
try a generic brand, might work for you.

2It sounds ridiculous, but eating something with a lot of hot sauce on it sometimes works for me! I know it sounds weird, but it’s true. And it usually only gives you temporary relief. Sorry, that’s the best I can do. I hope this helps. If you’re desperate, this could really help.

3This sounds like it hurts, but I had your symptoms and earaches too. Take an unopened water bottle, measuere one tsp salt and 1/4 tsp baking soda into the bottle and shake until disolved. Then, pour an ounce or so into a cup and microwave for 5-10 seconds, til lukewarm, NOT HOT! Tip your head back and using a thin tube, pour slowly into one nostril. It will drain down your throat and you should cough it out your mouth. I did this and was disgusted by what came out the first few times. After an hour I could breathe, and in less than a week, my sinus infection was gone, as well as my sore throat and ear infections. By the way, these were chronic conditions that I had taken 3 rounds of antibiotics for!!!! Have not taken any since, still not bothered by allergies.
