Hi, I am kind of scared. I don't know if this is bed bug bite or a mosquito bite. I wake up each morning and I notice that I have a bite or 2 in a random spot on my body. This is not an everyday thing but it happens quite often.
I have 2 bites on my arm, 1 bite on my biceps, 2 bites on my thighs, and 1 or 2 on my other arm. I took a picture of a bite on my thighs and I am not sure if these are bed bug bites or mosquito bites.
It is winter here and lots of snow(Ontario, Canada) and I dunno if there are mosquitoes in this weather.I do have a little crack in my window and I also don't have a visible infestation on the lining of my bed.
I cover my mattress with my bed sheet and pretty much its tucked in all the way down. I don't know how a bed bug can crawl out if my bed sheet is tucked in under my mattress (all 4 sides) unless they pierce throw the bed sheet.
I am going to try putting a double sided tape aronnd the edge of my bed and see what happens tommorow morning. Let me know if these are bed bug bites or sumin else?
Thanks

1Most likely NOT bedbugs. Bedbugs leave bites in groups or rows. I've had them before and seen other travelers in cheap hotels who'd had them. If you had bedbugs, you would know. Take a look at these pictures. This is usually what it looks like — dozens of bites, not 1 or 2.

[edit] Also, I've had bites before that sound similar to what you're talking about. I've always guessed spiders, but I'm not really sure. Anyway, it's probably best to get examined by a doctor.

4Bed bugs can hide anywhere. Look for blood trails.

7I have had stuff like this happen to me before, but i always just assume its sum kind of spider of something. they do not look serious. If i were you i would clean my sheets today, or put some new ones on, and then see what happens. good luck and dont worry, you look fine!:)

8WOW! They could be spider bites. I would recommend seeing a doctor. That hole in the middle and the red looks weird to me. But I have never seen a bed bug bite. I will look it up for you.
Here is a site that has bed bug pictures.
