I want to teach my children good habits now in regards to their skin, and I find it very important to wash and moisturize your face before bed. My facewash and moisturizers are not made for kids, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any face products that were made for them or gentle enough for them? They do not need acne products because they are only 3 and 6, just something to promote good skin health. Please don’t tell me to use any product by disney or nickelodeon, sorry but those products are junk and the prefumes and dyes could cause allergies. Thanks ![]()

I know that Cetaphil is very gentle and they could definitely grow into it until they develop their own skin types. It is also dermatologist recommended. Also, Aveeno lotion. My daughters derm. recommended the two for her when she was 6. It works very nicely and the Aveeno lasts a long time.

good brands are johnson and johnson or berts bees, or if you just go to bath and body works they can reccomend the exact gentle, and kid-friendly cleansers. Kudos on teaching them at a young age!

I know cetaphil is recommended by dermatoligists for being very gentle, scent and colour free. I’d check it out at the chemist first, but I know that I was recommended it simply because I have sensitive skin. Another company which makes things for sensitive skin, which isnt for a specific skin type etc would be QV. hope this helps.

how about a warm washcloth w/out soaps. cause kids skin is naturally soft so no moisturizers are needed either it could be something done right after they brush their teeth. that is truly the most important. brushing their teeth! cavities are not fun

Yes, there are many face washes available which can be used by kids as well as adults. My personal best in this regard is Zenmed’s 3 step skin care system which gently nourishes and moisturizes the skin. All products from zenmed are natural and doctor formulated. So you could be sure that your kids tender skin is not harmed and remains soft and tender.

My 5 year old uses her baby shampoo to wash her face. If you don’t want the perfumes in the shampoo, have them use Cetaphil. It’s made for sensitive skin. You can use the cleansers and moisturizers as well. Also don’t forget the sunscreen everyday. 2D
