I have a co-worker who CONSTANTLY complains that she is allergic to dust mites. Doesn’t everyone pretty much have an allergy to dust, dust mites and mold? I just want to tell her to shut up!!!!!!!!! Everyone has the same darn problem! But I just want to make sure I am right first
Thanks!!!!

1Allergies are the in thing right now. Sorry for the annoyance. The reason we have nostril hair is to trap such things on their way in, and overly contaminated environment will cause build-up, people will sneeze, and everyone will say you have an allergy. I just say, no, I breathed in too much dust!
But, there are true allergies, and you should always err on the side of being sympathetic to the sufferer. Even if they are just sneezing because it is too dusty, sneezing a lot is annoying.

2No, not everyone is allergic to dust mites!
If you breathe in dust, you’ll sneeze, but that doesn’t mean it’s due to an allergy.
Dust mite allergy is miserable. Her best bet is to get rid of the carpet in her home, have her mattresses professionally cleaned, along with her furniture.
The allergy is caused from the dead mites, not the live ones.
