I’m allergic to dust mites, and I find that my symptoms get a lot worse when I’m in my bedroom. I feel the worst right when I get up in the morning after sleeping there all night.
How can I reduce the number of dust mites in my room? It has carpet, and I can’t get rid of it. But what else can I do?

1Wash your bed linens in HOT water once a week if possible. If you have stuffed animals, put them in the freezer for 3 days in plastic bags. Steam your carpets often, lower humidity and temperature below 70. there are sprays and bedding covers you can buy for dust mites. Eucalyptus plants help too, get rid of useless things that collect dust/ Get an air filter that uses HEPA filters. Seriously, those things work magic!!! Clean, clean, clean

2I am going through that myself and they say the best you can do is clean your house from top to bottom and wash your sheets with hot water.

3Dust mites can be a pain. Cleaning your house and washing your sheets is the immediate thing you can do. Long term dust mites treatment would be bedding sprays, anti-dust mite pillow cases & bed covers and even an Air purifier.
