I have started looking for dust mite encasements for my mattress. However, there are tons of sites and tons of brands. Does anyone know a good, affordable brand?
Look for something labeled hypo-allergenic. Try going to Bed Bath and Beyond or LinensNThings. I have both of those sites below. I bought the Aller-Care Waterproof Allergen Barrier Mattress Protector from Bed Bath and Beyond. It does encase the entire mattress. For my king size mattress it costs me about 100 bucks plus tax. So far I don't wake up with a stuffy nose or swollen eyes due to allergies. And if you don't have a Bed Bath and Beyond in your area you can order online.
I don't know about any dust mite encasements but a good tip for getting rid of dust mite is put the pillows in a hot drier or freezer for a short time.
