1Bag up all your stuff from the floors in trash bags. Clothes in one, trash and paper stuff in the other. Or more bags, whatever, you get my drift. Bag up all the stuff in your dresser and closets too. Leave the drawers open after they’re empty. Get boxes for your other things, mostly plastics and wall decorations and stuff. pack those up and take em to somewhere out of the room, like stack them in the hall or something. You just need to kill the bugs and the bug bombs will leave a residue that needs to be wiped off. The less stuff to wipe, the easier life will be after this. When that’s done, Just bomb it. and fit a sheet of plastic over your door and seal that chit in. Live in the living room for now. After the recommended kill time, wait another day then go in and open the window to air it out and get rid of the smell. Shut the door for a few hours. Then go in,wipe everything off, vaccum everything. Every corner, under dressers and the bed.
While you wait for the bug bomb to kill the bugs, you wash all your stuff. Clothes are a no-brainer. For stuffed animals, put them in pillowcases and run them through the wash. Clean clean clean like you never have before. lol
And promise me you won’t let clothes fall to the floor again. Just think to yourself, that every time you drop a shirt, a bug is like, ooooo a home.

2you can’t see bed bugs except with a microscope….I think…and if you had one you would’ve had many more it was probably something else like a spider

3I doubt it’s bed bugs…the one good thing about them is you can’t actually feel them on you, they’re too small and weightless. Check under the mattress lining, if you have them, they will be there. But I wouldn’t worry…and yes, you can see them, I’ve had them.

4You can get ‘do-it-yourself’ bug bombs, they cost like 20 dollars. If it’s isolated to one room you’ll probably be able to stop it. For now, just sleep in a spare room… bed bugs don’t spread that fast.

5Clorox everything. I live in Alaska and my friends uncle brought them from New York. They are horrible and they get out of control! Just remember to clorox everything….and by everything…I mean EVERYTHING! Bed matress, corners of walls, drawrs…and take a vacation from your house and fog it. Eventually, they will all be gone. And if they ARE bed bugs and you may not know what they look like..they are dark red, flat beetle looking bugs. They get kind of big and the baby ones are sometimes clear if they haven’t got any blood yet. Sorry about this and I hope I helped.

6Just calm down and sleep. Tomorrow when you wake up, wash all your sheets, pillow cover/ and pillow if possible and blankets in hot water. Get someone to help you lift up your whole bed, move it aside against the wall and Vacuum under there if possible. I dun’t know how old you are but you should put away all your stuff animals in one area (closet) and not on your bed. You will get more dust on them if you leave them there. goodluck

7All of the above answers are BS. You can see a bed bug and you can feel them on you. But, before you go freaking out, is there any chance that it was fleas? If not, cover your bed and furniture with a good heavy grade plastic and bomb the chit out of it. By bomb, I mean get a bug bomb. They sell them everywhere. And put the bomb under the plastic. I know on the can it says to vacate the house. But your not bombing the house. Just the bed and furniture. which is under heavy grade plastic. When the bomb is done, you can’t use your furniture for about a day. Unless you really want cancer or toxic poisnoning. Hope this helps!!

8I’ll tell you one thing: a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I used to be a regional manager for a company called Delphin ProAir. They produce a combination vaccuum/home air purifier which is still the best product I have ever used as far as cleaning and the like is concerned. That is neither here nor there, but now we get to the point. We used to demo the thing in a lot of ways – it used water instead of a filter – it sucks the air through water, and that way, nothing – not even microscopic dust particles get through. What you want to do is this: beg, borrow, or steal a wet/dry vac from somewhere. Put a good bit of water into the main chamber, pour in some lysol or other anti-germ-bacteria cleaner, etc. Then take all your pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, and anything else that you are concerned about, and put them each separately into a plastic bag – if you plan to do your mattress, you will need a large bag – they sell these in wal-mart I believe, but you may have to look around. Here is a walkthrough of what to do:
Take a stuffed animal and insert it by itself into a plastic bag – one that is clear or easy to see through is preferable, but any will do as long as it is large enough and has no holes in it.
Bunch the top of the bag up and hold it tight around the tube of the wet vac, so that when you turn it on, it will suck all the air out of the bag.
MAKE CERTAIN that your vac is on the right mode. They often have a reverse, and this will BLOW. Unless you want a house full of disinfectant/water solution, I’d recommend making sure before turning the thing on lol.
Turn it on and allow it to suck all of the air out if the bag. This will severely compress the stuffed animal, squishing it down to tiny size. Let the vac run for about 30 seconds or so – long enough to make sure that it has really compressed the air out of the animal fully.
What this does is pulls dust motes, dirt, dander, and anything else (like creepy crawlies) out of the fabric and stuffing, and forces them into your disinfectant solution, where they become stuck – unable to crawl on you or make you have allergies or be sick.
Repeat this process for every item that you are concerned about separately. You should only need a few sizes of bags to do this, and they can be reused over and over again, provided you don’t tear them. Your animals, etc. will return to normal shape with a little fluffing, so don’t worry lol.
We had feedback from families who bought a system from us, where they would say that most of their indoor allergies, etc. had literally vanished after going through this process. Give it a try, and it will definitely get rid of your bedbugs for you – to the extent that you can get rid of them, anyway.
If you have the means at some point, I highly recommend picking up a Delphin – once you have done the airvac cycle (sucking the air out of the items) – if you have a Delphin, you can change the water, add some hypoallergenic non-toxic disinfectant solution (which comes with it, and is the same stuff they pump through the ventilation system in hospitals to keep germs from spreading) and reverse the action. This fills the item with disinfected, medicated air. You can put in non-toxic scents, as well – you can use eucalyptus to open your sinuses while you sleep and give a nice clean smell to your pillows
All of this can be done with a 2-mode vac with a little creativity, though. They sell the solution I’m talking about at medical supply stores, which are in the phonebook, and the scents that you buy for $3.00 to burn in those little heat lamps will do just fine – a few drops will work wonders!
I hope that some of this helps you – I know it certainly can – let us know how it turns out! Good luck!

9not to sound ruse or mean or anything, but you easily could have prevented the problem by not having STUFF everywhere. keeping things clean will keep you from having this problem. and also, if you have a dog or a cat it could easily be fleas. Wash your pet REALLY well, give it a flea dip ( you can buy flea dip anywhere they sell pet stuff, its not shampoo, you put it in the tub with warm water, mix it well and submerge your pet for 10-15 minutes) also, (if its fleas) you’ll need to flea bomb your house. It’s something like a smoke bomb. buy one at the store and read the directions VERY carefully! you have to stay out of your house for a certain amount of time. if it is bed bugs, i don’t know, ask martha stewart.
