Dont throw anything away before you try some kind of bed bug spray on your matress. What I did was spray it on my matress, then sleep in a different bed for about 3 or 4 days (that was still in the same room but didnt have any) they ended up going away completely and I havent had any problems with them since. Bed Bugs are just the worst...and unfortunately, on the move throughout North and South America...and over in Europe, it's really bad in the hotels and hostels. Whatever you can afford to throughout ... do it. Whatever you can't, wash in very hot water, and get yourself some bug spray. If you have carpets, you must get them steam cleaned... I wish you the best of luck...it's damn hard getting rid of them all.
