Your face may be extra-greasy because you are stripping too much oils from it. I have combination skin (oily mainly in the T-zones and normal everywhere else) and when I strip my skin at night and don't moisturize, my T-zone is extra oily in the morning. I suggest not drying out your skin too much. Use a simple soap, like a glycerin soap. It's very good because it takes away all of the oil, but the soap is very simple without a lot of chemicals so there won't be any reactions with any chemicals in it. Also, you should lightly moisturize your face at night. Clear aloe vera gel is a great, inexpensive moisturizer for oily skin. Just make sure you aren't overdrying your skin. I know that I used stridex before, and it dried out my skin a lot. Hope I helped.

As strange as it sounds, try applying savlon cream.
If you rub it in well to your face it will leave the skin soft but dry rather than greasy.
Give it a go.

Face problems....are you thinking that waking up with extra greasy skin is making your pimples worse? I'm not exactly sure what problem you are having. I wouldn't put on moisturizer and then use the stridex pad. If anything, use the stridex pad and then apply the moisturizer before bed.
I think you need to exfoliate somewhere in your routine though, especially if your skin is super oily.
