1try using borax — put in inbetween your sheets and mattress and around your bed — like against baseboards. borax is made of boric acid — it clogs the pores in their legs and kills them.
another product you can use is diatomaceous earth. you can buy it in pool supply areas — they use it for pool filtration. it dehydrates them when they come in contact with it — you can use it the same way.
you can throw either of them all over your house — work them into any carpeting, etc. they are safe for children and pets.

2Check out a hardware store near you. They may have something you can buy that will help. You may have to call someone to go check it out and kill the bugs.

3Need a natural "pesticide?"
Enzyme Cleaners are as effective as pesticides but are not classified as a pesticides. They attack pests (fleas, bed bugs, dust mites, scabies, lice, etc.) by causing the insect to pre-molt and die, unlike pesticides which attack the central nervous systems. Pesticide residues also attack YOUR central nervous system, to varying degrees.
Call around to various merchants in your area and ask what they have to offer in the way of enzyme cleaners. Health food stores will probably stock such items. Try it out and if you like the product (and for even more economical savings) look at purchasing it by the gallon over the Internet. The product I use for my business and home use, cost me $75.00 per gallon, BUT, it's super-concentrated and requires a mix ratio of only 1 ounce per 1 gallon of water. This equates to $0.72 per gallon (when shipping costs are included). What other pesticide/cleaning product can you buy for just $0.72 per gallon? I think a gallon of bleach even costs more than that…but I don't really know for sure because I haven't had the need to purchase any bleach for a very long time.
I realize you don't have a credit card, but if you do have a bank account, you could sign up for a PayPal account or something similar.
If you would like to know which product I use…feel free to send me an email.
Ideal for every home environment, "green" (eco-friendly) enzyme cleaners reduce the prolific chemical usage presently found in name brand cleaning products. They are especially ideal for persons who are susceptible to chemicals and the volatile organic compounds (VOC's) emitted by typical cleaning products through casual use. Kid-friendly, pet-friendly, totally safe…this product can even be used on humans and pets as a body wash or shampoo!
The enzyme cleaner I use is also non-magnetic, or non-static, meaning that once a surface is wiped cleaned there is no chemical residue left behind (of course) BUT, the surface does not attract dust, unlike conventional, chemical-based cleaning products!
What do you want to clean, sanitize and sterilize?
Any and all household surfaces can be cleaned with an Enzyme Cleaner and at extremely economical costs without any chemical residue or VOC's.
All natural, non-toxic, pesticide free and odorless, Enzyme Cleaners are becoming very popular due the multitude of uses that these products provide.
With an infant in the house I would not feel comfortable using chemical pesticides or powders such as borax acid and diatomaceous earth (DE). Your infants respiratory system including bronchial tubes are still developing and use of any of these items could have an adverse effect on your child.
DE is fossilized algae and under a microscope you can see the jagged, razor-like edges which pierce the exoskeletons of insects…this, then causes them to dehydrate. Excellent for outdoor use on fire ant mounds. I wouldn't want an infants' lungs (or mine for that matter) exposed to DE or boric acid due to the inhalation of these nearly microscopic particles.
Do all you can to visually inspect and remove the bed bugs from your mattress and bedding, including the frame. You have done the right thing by moving your bed away from the wall. You might try coating the legs of your bed with a liberal amount of vaseline, or place the legs of your bed into emptied soup cans partially filled with vegetable oil…I know that's rather drastic, but so is your situation.
Oh yeah, one last thought. If, by any chance, you have any rips, tears, or holes in your mattress (where bed bugs might escape to) purchase a plastic bag for transporting/storing a mattress. These bags cost less than $5.00. Seal up the open end with duct tape after putting your mattress inside. Down side of doing this is that the plastic may be too noisy for you and it may be uncomfortable (hot) to lay on even with a mattress pad over it. Not a great solution, but a solution none the less.
