Can Rats Catch Dust mites. I have 3 rats in one cage 2 male rats in another and 2 girls in another but yet only the 3 rats Has mites. Only thing I can think of is dust mites but yet my room is clean because of my asthma and allergies. Can Rat get dust mites?
I have used carefresh bedding in the past One of my rats is allergic to it. The only freezer I have right now is the one that goes with the fridge I don’t think my parents will enjoy opening up their freezer and finding a big bag of bedding lol. I have called the vet and they said it sounded like lice but they def weren’t interested in seeing them today.
