My mom recently has been diagnosed with an allergy to dust mites. She takes some allergy medicine but it doesn’t do much. Her doctor recommended to remove the carpets. And the whole house is carpeted. Is there any solution to her allergies without removing the carpet?

1sweep them every day. if possible clean them. if you can take them up but it’s hard to get rid of them. they say no stuffed animals, no dust, no carpet. wash your blanket and sheets in hot water, get an allergen pillow case. when they have asthma fairs, go because they give things like that free, i know because i got some. if not go to any store like walgreens or cvs. also put plastic on your mattresses. it’s hard. good luck. I have been on alot of prescription allergy medicine i think singulair works good for me.

2It would be the best to clean your carpet on a regular basis, if you can’t remove them. Dust mites tend to live with human or other pets’ remains such as beds, sofa, carpet… Spray is another way to get rid of them.
