Hi,
I always tent to get jobs in offices with carpets. I have dust + dust mite allergies. So i get all kinds of allergy problems. Most offices, don’t have good ventilation, don’t change their air filters and vacuum well. Has anyone had this problem and if so how do you deal with it in the workplace?
Thanks.

1In the workplace there are a few things you can do to control your environment. If you have access to their vacuum, you can treat the carpet in your small area (or bring in a portable dust buster) with a denaturing agent like X-Mite. If not, just buy a denaturing agent that you can spray onto the carpeted surfaces like ADMS. These will deactivate the dust mite waste products and dead bodies that are causing you allergies.
They also make air cleaners that are great for desks. I use a small one in my office area that filters out dust and irritating chemicals that are airborne.
I listed the place I’ve gotten my stuff from. If you have any further questions, call or e-mail them and they’ll answer everything, even if you don’t buy from them. Biggest help in figuring out my allergy situation.

3Certain herbal and homeopathic remedies have been found to be beneficial in the treatment and prevention of allergies. These remedies are not only much safer to use than the traditional antihistamine drugs but also gentler for the body. Herbs such as Urtica urens and Plantago lanceolata (also known as plantain) contain effective anti-inflammatory and astringent properties and have a long history of treating inflammation, allergies and respiratory complaints.
Quercitin is a highly effective herb that contains antioxidants and helps to boost the immune system and improve circulation while Euphrasia officinalis (Eyebright) maintains eye health and good vision. In addition, homeopathic ingredients such as Arsen alb. (15C) and Nat. mur. (D6) help to control allergy symptoms such as sneezing, wheezing chest, inflammation in the eyes and irritability.
Together, these herbal & homeopathic remedies are very much capable of thwarting any allergic attack and clear (prevent ) them form recurring.
