From all the research that I have done all natural latex rubber will not support dust mites, mold, and mildew. In order to get a mattress that is 100 percent inside and out I believe you would need to encase the mattress in a plastic casing. From what I have researched they can be more dangerous than they dust mites. Mold and mildew are in my mind bigger issues yet are rarely talked about. Then throw in that mattresses now have to comply with federal fire standards which are met by using dangerous and harmful chemicals to make them fire retardant it makes the few dust mites that "mite" manage to live in a latex mattress seem like a minuscule problem.
Many mattresses that claim to be dust mite free utilize chemicals to do it, so there is a dangerous trade off.
