I noticed one evening there was like 2 little bugs on our covers and they looked like fleas but didn’t jump. I went ahead and got tea tree oil and sprayed the inner lining of my mattress (even though i didn’t see any signs of bed bugs in the cracks) and then bought the bed bug covering for my bed and box spring. Today I found another little bug but it is the first time in at least a week and a half, it was a teeny bit bigger. I moved the bed up from against the wall just in case something is crawling up there. I haven’t really experienced any type of bites but I’m just wondering if there could be any other type of bug other than bed bugs? I have noticed like one on my computer screen before and one on my cell phone screen but other than that I have one found like 4-5 on the bed (in the covers but not in our mattress) between a week period (it didn’t look like any of the bed bug pictures I could find). I live in California and I usually have a window open in our apt, just wondering if anyone could possibly tell me what kind of bug it could be, or maybe if I have bed bugs?
Well I don’t even feel them crawling on me I will just see a little one on the cover. That is why I think it might not be bed bug.. but if you bomb your house and it works, let me know and ill try it!
thanks

1I live in Texas and have been having the same types of bugs that you are describing. It creeps me out when they crawl on me at night, but they haven’t bitten me so far that I can see. I plan on getting a bug bomber to bomb my house.

2CATCH ONE IN A ZIP LOCK BAG AND TAKE IT TO A ENTOMOLOGIST. THEY’LL TELL YOU WHAT IT IS.
