Bed bugs are little nasty bugs that feed on human and animal blood. They tend to be most common in areas where people sleep and generally concentrate in beds, including mattresses, box springs, and bed frames. Other sites where bed bugs often reside include curtains, the corners inside dressers and other furniture, cracks in wallpaper (particularly near the bed), and inside the spaces of wicker furniture.
Since bed bugs can live for months without feeding, they can also be found in vacant homes.
To get rid of them the pest control expert may recommend certain forms of deep-cleaning such as scrubbing infested surfaces with a stiff brush to remove eggs, dismantling bed frames and furniture, filling cracks in floors, walls, and moldings, encasing mattresses within special bags, or using a powerful vacuum on cracks and crevices.
i dont know where they come from, you can call the mattress store and see if they carry the bug spray that kills the bugs. i believe its a spray or powder.
You really should get a new mattress as the bed bugs can penetrate a cover. We sell memory foam mattress which bed bugs can't live in. Get a memory foam mattress and you'll never have this problem again.

2Unbelievable! You need to install hardwood floors and be more fastidious. The mattress has to go when the carpet goes.
