I’ve been suffering with terrible sinus problems for years. Last week I finally got to see a specialist surgeon who, to cut a long story short, told me there was nothing that could be done surgically – but an allergy test proved I was allergic to dust mites.
I’ve seen various products available, and although a dust allergy is almost impossible to combat (due to it being everywhere), would investing in specialist dust mite proof bedding/pillows etc help combat my problem enough to justify spending money on these products?

1They work, provided you keep them constantly clean too. For a period of time my brother slept on "dust-mite-proof" bedding, which was actually just bedding that doesn’t have cloth on it, it’s covered in something like PVC instead.

2most of these product do reduce the level of dust mites but you cant go wrong with hoovering the mattress on your bed regularly and most pillows now are machine washable so you could bung them into the washing machine as well.i have an asthmatic child and i found that this helped her alot.
