Posted by admin as Hypoallergenic Pillows
I have purchased an air purifier and bought bed covers and hypoallergenic pillows and pillow covers. I have removed my dusty drapes. I have carpeting that i can not remove…anything i can do or buy to reduce allergens that comes from carpets.
I’m not going to hire someone to clean my carpets so they can get dusty a couple days later. That’s expensive. I’m in college.
Also, share any tips on reducing allergies in a bedroom. Thanks

1Remove as much carpet from your house as possible. Where carpet remains, it may be treated with a solution of 1 part vinegar to 1 part hot water in a steam cleaning machine. (test this solution on an inconspicuous section of carpet for color-fastness)
HEPA filters work the best for allergies
Make sure there's not to much stuff around that will get dusty. And above all else make sure you dust and vaccuum a lot to avoid allergies.

2Make sure you have a good HEPA air filter. Also, are you getting allergy shots? They help so much! Otherwise the only other thing I can thing of is getting a high-quality vacuum and vacuum your carpets at least once a week.
