The vet recommended immunotherapy ie home vaccination done by me to help him overcome the allergy, signs of which are constant paw licking and body itch. Vaccination is on a slow decreasing frequency for 1 month, followed by maintenance shots every month for 1 yr. Has anyone’s dog had similar allergy and tried immunotherapy? If so, what was the outcome and did the dog recover from his dust mite allergy eventually? Thanks.

1My dog is allergic to all kinds of things. He is allergic to grass, flea saliva, dust mites, dirt, aerosol, etc. My vet just recommended to limit his contact and feed him wheat/grain free dog food and bathe him every 2 weeks with hypoallergenic shampoo and it is working great.
