I've had an allergy to dust mites for about a year now, and I'm struggling to find a treatment that works for me. I have a big problem with antihistamines. They're either too weak, and leave me really prone to sinus infections, or too strong, and I feel like I'm lost in a fog all the time. It becomes really difficult to concentrate while on these medications, which can make school really frustrating.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips or ideas? I've gotten all kinds of covers and filters and everything, and that stuff has helped, but not enough. I've heard from different doctors that moving to a dry, warm climate like Arizona would help, but then others say that isn't true. Has anyone ever moved for a dust mite allergy with any success? Are there any antihistamines that you would recommend? Any other advice or ideas you have would be great and much appreciated. Thank you.
