   There are so many manufactures of allergy mattress covers now. I would google to find out what is being offered now. Prices vary greatly among makers as well. Many will send you swatches.

   Anne: The ones on my bed are a blend of cotton and polyester that are fused to a backing that makes them waterproof and miteproof. I got them a gazillion years ago from the same place I get my demite washing stuff. I think they make ones now without that backing, but they are probably not waterproof. I will give you a link to the demite place because I have it bookmarked and you can see what they make these days. Maybe they can send a catalog or something. I just know that mine are not vinyl and they have lasted so long I can't remember when I got them!
